Avv. Giuseppe De Naro Papa
Giuseppe De Naro Papa graduated with merit in 1968 from Università degli Studi di Catania, where for four years he worked as a Civil Procedural Law assistant. From 1972 to 1980 he acquired solid experience in company law at Studio Nicoletti and at the Legal Affairs Office of STANDA S.p.A. Subsequently he returned to private practice at the law firm established by Mr Pier Luigi Olivetti, where he was a partner until 2005. In 2006 he established De Naro Papa e Associati with Mr Hugo Pruzzo, a partner in the previous law firm.
In his professional practice and continuing education he has specialized in company law (corporate law and contracts) with particular emphasis on civil procedural law and arbitration law. He was tasked by the Court of Milan to provide ongoing assistance in the context of receiverships and bankruptcy proceedings. For several years he has worked with the Fondazione dei Dottori Commercialisti di Milano (Association of Professional Accountants in Milan), for whose Arbitration Court he also drafted the Rules of Arbitration. He has been a speaker at numerous Conferences on Arbitration and Corporate Law. He represents the law firm in the UIA and in the AIGLI. He practices law fluently in Italian and English. He has been registered with the Milan Bar Association since 1980 and has right to audience before the Court of Cassation since 1991.
